I am a counselor in Sweet Home, Oregon. I work with people who struggle with anxiety, marital difficulties, troubled family relationships, depression, recovery from addiction, panic, grief, and healing from childhood sexual abuse.

Formal Education and Training:  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon in 2001, and went on to earn my Masters of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Northwest Christian University, Eugene, in 2008.  I have been counseling for most of my adult life, with credentials for 5 years. Many of my clients were looking for help to overcome depression, grief, anxiety, dissociation, spiritual conflicts, and recovery from childhood sexual abuse.

Continuing Education:  The State of Oregon requires that counselors and therapists continue to learn new skills and enhance those already in place. I agree with that philosophy wholeheartedly. My plan for the coming year is to begin training in Somatic therapy, and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) . I am hopeful that I can serve the community where I grew up as a counselor in Sweet Home, Oregon.
